Our website and services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.Youth artist submissions are accepted only from artists between the ages of 13 and 17, and must be submitted by a parent or legal guardian who provides their own contact information and signs the Youth Artist Donation Agreement.

Minor Artist Information

Personal information collected through artist applications is used solely for administering the Artist Donation Program.

For minor artists aged 13 to 17, we collect parent or legal guardian contact information and take additional care to protect the minor’s personal data. Minor artist information is never used for marketing purposes.  Public recognition of a minor artist requires the explicit written consent of the parent or legal guardian, given through the Youth Artist Donation Agreement. Where consent is given, we limit published information to the minor artist’s first name or chosen artist name, and — only where the parent or legal guardian has specifically elected it — the minor artist’s age or age range.  We do not publish a minor artist’s last name, photograph, school, street address, or other identifying location information, and we do not tag or link to a minor artist’s personal social media accounts, without separate written consent from the parent or legal guardian.

A parent or legal guardian may withdraw consent or request removal of a minor artist’s information at any time by contacting us.

Cookies & Analytics

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies. Some are essential — they keep the site working, remember what is in your cart, and keep your session secure. Others are optional and help us understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it.

When you first visit CraftersWhoCare.org, you will see a cookie consent banner. Optional cookies are not set unless you accept them.
